#SPOTLIGHT #ENTERTAINMENT @Korporate00

20170706_105411

Korporate is a Chicago entertainer/rapper who takes the normal everyday struggles of Chicago citizens and gives it a comedic twist. Although the issues he jokes about aren’t taken lightly, he still seems to grab the attention of thousands of people and make them laugh until they cry. Korporate takes the comedy a step further and creates rhymes to emphasize the importance of how the gun violence, murders and depiction of young black men and women is demeaning to who we are. He raps about politics, corruption and a host of other government issues, but somehow, still finds a way to put a smile on the faces of those who live through the struggle everyday. His comedy is inspiring because although its extremely funny, there is truth to it and he shows his viewers that he actually cares about what is going on in our communities. Korporate has an ongoing series on social media called, “Black Chicago Be Like,” which now has a total of 27 parts. Check out some clips of Korporate below and be sure to follow Korporate on all social media.

#NEWMIXTAPEALERT!! “Silence and Loyalty” By: @TMan_BFC

https://spinrilla.com/mixtapes/t-man-silence-loyalty-hosted-by-dj-bigtankbeatz/embed
T-Man just released his new mixtape, “Silence and Loyalty, hosted by DJ BigTankBeatz on spinrilla.com. If you want something full of energy, something that makes you want to turn up no matter where you are, this mixtape is definitely worth the download. From the intro all the way down to the outro, T-Man represents all kinds of intensity and power throughout each track. You can hear the confidence in each bar he spits over every beat, which kind of matches the toughness of any Meek Mill song. While each track serves its own purpose in making the mixtape hot, I’d be doing my readers and T-Man’s listeners a disservice if I didn’t truthfully say “Silence and Loyalty” is #DOPE!

#NEWVIDEO “Ain’t Nobody Talkin About No Real Shit” By: @DrazeExperience Ft. D’Angelo

People have waited long enough for someone to speak to the music industry, society and the injustice of African Americans in a controversial tone such as Draze. In this video, he embodies every ounce of pain black people have gone through. He speaks to the glorification of “blaxsploitation,”  drugs, alcohol, and materialistic things. The sample Draze uses from an Usher song,  “I Don’t Mind” at the 3:10 mark, takes a remarkable stab at the adoration and the approval by our society of women degrading themselves and using their bodies as only an object for men to drool over, stare at and sometimes inappropriately touch, all for a dollar. He phenomenally captures the essence of celebrities turning a blind eye to “the struggle,” all the while taking our money, gaining streams and album sales, while the same consumers are being gunned down by peers and police. This song is beautifully expressed and the images in the video are sure to strike a nerve. Enjoy the video above.
